First Blog Entry: The Torment of a Blank Blog

Ah~
So here we are. A new blog entry. The first blog post. The crucial first entry that would determine what this blog is all about and more. In a funny sorta way it reminds me of stealing first base on the first date. Hmmm...that's another story. Anyways...I guess we all have to start somewhere.

Staring blankly and intently at the screen of the computer hoping that the empty space would miraculously fill itself up with words that would form itself into legible sentences. I guess it is a routine that every aspiring blogger would face. Maybe...then again...maybe not. To blog or not to blog? That is the question. Is it something that we do to torment ourselves so that we sleep better at night knowing that we did something for the day? Or does it somehow fulfill a more dire need to be heard by the masses whose faces we don't know? Should we write about something that matters or do we just babble on incessantly about nothing and hope that somehow...maybe someday we'd all get a high readership so that we can all make some money from benefactors with deep pockets, generous sponsors and advertisers who want to get their brands out to the masses. Well whatever the reason is, I'm sure that it's a good one...or...at the very least, I hope that whatever I blog about is read by someone one day. Maybe it serves my very own selfish and narcissistic need to be appreciated in whatever means possible.

AND SO...having prattle on about almost nothing for the past 5 minutes. At least I'm somewhat making a little progress in my little corner of Blogdom. I think this blogging thing is going to be a snap! (<---famous last words.) ^_^

Who knows? Maybe in future posts I can start blogging about more interesting things in life...photography, art, illustrations, scuba diving, travels, food, theater, misadventures, movies, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...:P
